Cook the rice according to the package directions. While the rice is cooking, season the chicken with salt and pepper and 1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala. Heat the oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes or until browned.
Add the garlic, ginger, cayenne and remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala and cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in the soup and water and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for 4 minutes until the chicken is done.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Stir in the yogurt and lime juice. Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked rice and sprinkle with the cilantro, if desired.
